Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport (MKRS) Primary institution responsible for Prizren Fortress The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport is the main authority responsible for the protection, management and strategic development of Prizren Fortress as a cultural heritage site of national importance. 2. Archaeological Institute of Kosovo Acting Director: U.D. Zana Rama The Archaeological Institute leads excavation campaigns, research, conservation planning and documentation for the site. The Prizren Fortress Management Unit Bariu Zenelaj, Berat Ademi, Sazan Cukaj and Liridona Rexhepi The Prizren Fortress Management Unit is responsible for the administration, development, maintenance and promotion of the Prizren Fortress, transforming it into a multi-functional space. 4. Prizren Fortress Manager Veron Tara The site manager coordinates daily operations, visitor access, monitoring, reporting, maintenance and implementation of the management plan.
